MorningStar Charting Tool
Create your own view on performance by comparing funds against respective benchmarks or seeing where it stands among peers in the same category. Easy and intuitive way to know how a fund’s returns have varied over time. Evaluate a fund’s performance outside the confines of a calendar year or trailing period. Helps you to understand a fund’s volatility.
Access and how-to:
Please note that the GW Euro Reserve Fund is used as a standard Euro Cash Benchmark for comparison purposes.
Select the ‘Charting tool’ on the Morningstar panel.
- Click ‘Compare’ and type in the name of the fund or alternatively type in the pre-fix ‘GW’ and the list of funds available for selection will be displayed.
To select a fund, click on the name of the fund and it will be added to the chart. (To deselect a fund, simply click on the ‘X’ to remove it.)
You can select the ‘Frequency’ – 3 month / 6 month / 1 year / 3 year / 5 year and 10 year or, alternatively, you can select a start and end date from the calendar.
Under ‘Chart Settings’ menu and under ‘Plot Types’, you can set the chart type as ‘Growth’ or ‘Price’. From here you can also select the currency.
You can also select to ‘Print’ the chart under the ‘Chart Settings’ menu.
